INTER MILAN have made initial contact with Roma over the potential signing of Kostas Manolas, according to reports in Italy.
Roma would be reluctant to sell Manolas, but would be accept a bid in the region of £33million.
The decision to move for the former Olympiakos ace could be down the recent knee injury picked up by Lazio’s Stefan De Vrij.

Inter were reported to have agreed a with the Dutchman, who was also a target for the Premier League’s big guns.
The Nerazzurri could even offer Jeison Murillo to Roma as part of any deal.
The 24-year-old Colombian is highly-rated and not short of admirers, but has found himself on the bench of late.
With the World Cup just next summer, he could be keen to leave in search of regular football in order to secure his place in the national side.
On top of that, Inter are not certain to be playing in the Champions League next season — and featuring in Europe’s premier competition would do his cause no harm.
Should Murillo be allowed to leave, they could even bring in both Manolas and De Vrij.
