Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got matching tattoos during their trip to Thailand in 2016, but unfortunately their marriage didn't even last a year later. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, as the custody battle rages on, Pitt is trying hard to remove the ink.
A famous tattoo artist in Thailand, Ajarn noo Kanpai gave the matching ink to the former couple. The Maleficent actress has got three 'Sak Yant' tattoos and the Fight Club actor got a Buddhist symbol on his stomach. They inked these symbols as they thought it would bind the couple together but it clearly didn't happen that way, as they got separated months later.
After their ugly split and custody battle gearing up, Pitt is reportedly trying hard to remove the tattoo as soon as possible.
The reason why the power couple decided to part their ways is still unknown but Pitt was being blamed for bad parenting, child abuse and was said to be an alcohol addict. In fact, Pitt allegedly got into an altercation with their oldest son Maddox on a private plane but the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services and the FBI cleared him of the allegations, and all such charges were dropped.
Though, the whole split started off real ugly, two months ago the former couple released a joint statement saying that they want to keep their divorce private and move forward.
Neither of the actors made any comment on the reports of the matching tattoos.
Meanwhile, Jolie took the couple's children to London, one of her first trips abroad after her break-up with Mr and Mrs Smith's co-star. A source revealed as cited by inquistr: "Angelina Jolie returned from one of her first international trips with her kids since splitting with Brad Pitt and it was the most difficult of her life. She is struggling with overwhelming sadness without having Brad's warmth, protection and his help with the children while traveling."
